Each lesson has been structured to lead into the next and build skills in a planned order. The topics of balance, foot positioning and body weight and centre of gravity are discussed. Exercises are then used to develop these areas and give the skaters an accelerated learning process of the sport.
Our skate programs are crafted to cater to individuals who are either stepping onto a skateboard for the very first time or those who are just beginning their journey into the world of skateboarding. With our structured lesson plans, we ensure that each student receives a comprehensive understanding of the fundamentals laying a strong foundation for future progression.
There is no average timeframe when it comes to learning to skate , but as a general rule a 3 month period of several hours per week practicing should see a good improvement of balance and control of the board. However the real confidence in being on the board will come after a year or 2 of habitual skating. There are no fast track ways to learn this sport.
Skateboarding is a very difficult sport with a long period of initial learning before you become comfortable. I want to give you the the skills to begin your skate journey and to minimise the risk of injury.
